imagine a young girl watching TV in some worn down nasty apartment. If I directed the film I would imagine a scene like this. Yes, I know this may sound like a contradiction to my first complaint but a simple cameo would have served not only this film but any possible sequal. The one that does stand out the most only does so because of what The Joker does to him. But it was so obviously not true from the start.īasically, every character except The Joker was forgettable. It was completely unnecessary and purely existed to try to give shock the audience.
The attempt to make you wonder if he is the illegitimate son is also just a poor story angle. If we are going to make a movie about just The Joker it really should have been completely his story.
